Youth Mental Health & Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)
Helping young people build skills for healthier choices and a stronger future.
Our Work
In 2024, Houston Foundation for Hope provided Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) programming to justice-involved youth participating in Juvenile Treatment Court through the Kentucky Court of Justice. HFH’s trained facilitators supported youth through structured group programming.
What Is MRT?
Moral Reconation Therapy is a structured, cognitive-behavioral program designed to strengthen decision-making, self-awareness, and personal accountability. Through guided exercises and group discussion, participants examine their thinking and choices while developing skills to support positive change.
How This Supports Our Mission
HFH’s mission is to reduce barriers to prevention, treatment, and recovery services for those affected by mental illness and addiction. Providing youth programming at no cost puts that mission into practice by making support more accessible during an important stage of development.
Help Us Bring This Program Back
Programming is currently paused due to limited funding. Sustainable support is needed to cover trained facilitators, participant workbooks, program materials, and coordination.
Your support can help HFH bring this programming back to young people who need it.
